A Hunting Experience Above All The Rest

Fritzlan & Family Guide & Outfitter Services operates under a special use permit under Rio Blanco Ranger District and White River National Forest. We are all fully licensed, bonded, and insured and first aid trained.

Our base camp is located in the White River National Forest in Northwest Colorado. We are 8 miles south of Buford on the Buford/New Castle road (Forest Service Road #245). Buford is approximately 20 miles east of Meeker, Colorado.

HUNTING PACKAGES

Complete Package
We take you into the main camp in the National Forest. You enjoy a five day hunt with sleeping tents and guide service furnished. You furnish your own personal gear (gear and sleeping bag).

Total Hunt: $2,250 per person
Required Deposit: $1,125


Drop Camps
We furnish your tent and coffee pot, which is all set up when you arrive. We pack you into the location, then in five days we pack you and your meat out.

Total Hunt: $1,200 per person
Required Deposit: $600


Spike Camps
You furnish your tent and coffee pot and we pack you in. Then in five days we will pack you and your meat out.

Total Hunt: $800 per person
Required Deposit: $400


Horse Rentals
We pack - you don't, for the safety of our clients, as well as our horses. Horses rented out for riding only. The tack is included.

$80 per day per person
Five Day Horse Rental: $400 per person, plus $100 per day for Guide


Game Packing
You wack 'em - we pack 'em. Size does matter.

$250 (Price negotiable depending on if animal is skinned, quartered, distance, and location)


Guided Hunts - Additional Days
$350 per day per person

Terms of Service
Signed contracts and a 50% deposit are required to reserve a hunt. For Archery, Muzzleloader, and 1st Rifle seasons, which are contingent on a license draw, 25% of the deposit will be due on June 15th. If you do not draw, your 25% deposit will refunded to you or held to book your hunt for the following year.

Balances are due upon arrival to Fritzlan & Family Guide and Outfitter Service via cashier's check, money order, or cash. Deposits are non-refundable and no refunds or credits shall be given for late arrivals or early departures.

Please note: Licenses are issued by drawing only. Application forms are available from the Colorado Division of Wildlife via phone (303) 297-1192 or the internet at http://wildlife.state.co.us. The 2008 application deadline is April 1, 2008.

If you were born on or after January 1, 1949, you must have a hunter education card. The cost of your hunting license and application processing fees are not included in Fritzlan & Family Guide & Outfitters' price.
